Town Hall Meetings Rock

Tim Fish Here. Wow O wow wow wow!! Just got back from Chet Edwards' Town Hall Meeting. We're a Rackus bunch of Texans, I must admit. I am proud to say that we had several (many) outbursts and "Boos" from the crowd. If you've never been to a town hall meeting with a bunch of mad people, then you need to find one and attend. My sweet wife isn't quite as used to all the yelling and stuff as I am. She was out of her comfort zone. I told her that she should attend one of my Union Meetings with me.

Business is a boomin

Tim Fish Here. We went to see the new movie "Inglorious Basterds", (I know, they misspelled it on purpose) and I gotta say, I loved it!! Brad Pitt is a great actor, much better of an actor than that hack Kevin Costner. I believe that Kevin is way over rated. He only has one character he plays in different settings, while Brad has a wide range and can play many different characters. I hope you don't think that I'm having a "bromance" with Mr. Pitt. I think his decision to dump Jennifer Anniston was terrible. It's obvious that Jennifer is much "hotter" than Angelina. I will never be able to understand what he was thinking. Anyway, if you want some laughs, and don't mind some blood and gore, go see it. It's a lot like pulp fiction in the way it was filmed and told.

Jesus Clears the Temple

Tim Fish Here, I got this cool new T-Shirt with this picture on the front. I love it! I point it out to everyone I see when I'm wearing it. I know you're pee green with envy. Go to "inherit the Mirth" and see all the cool stuff.

I took (forced) Cynthia to go see "District 9" with me Friday night. For my punishemt I was asked (forced) to go see Julie/Julia. Of the two movies, I must admit that J/J was better. I can't recommend D 9.

Tim Fish Here. We had a great weekend, Cynthia and I had a "spontaneous" trip to Fort Worth for a Grandbaby holding and playing day. Much holding and fun playing was had by all. We also went to Shipley's donuts and bought some food that I can only describe as "Things that must be served in Heaven". Oddly enough, the man that sold us the "Manna" was thin. Hmmmmm...

We have also decided on a name for the Kitten that we got last week. Wait for it... "Spazmina". (Ta Da) She's been giving us 'Spaz Attacks', as we walk past. She goes to the 'Spazateria' for food and she creates 'Spazdamonium' when she returns. She goes to the 'Spazatorium' to give speaches. She also went to the 'Spazroom' and used the litterbox on her way to the 'Spazeater' to watch a movie.

To all of my local readers, There is a peaceful protest scheduled for Monday, August 10th at Noon, outside of Chet Edwards office on 29th street. I hope that many show up to demonstrate that Chet needs to have a town hall meeting open to all. So far he is hiding from his constituents. Participate whether you agree or disagree. Get involved or someone will make your decisions for you. "Word".

Cats and Crummy politicians

Tim Fish Here, Back by popular demand... Holy cow Batman, we have a new Spastic Cat!! We got her on Saturday, she's 8 weeks old and full of vinegar. We've named her "Spaz", cause she is one. Tonight, while eating supper, Cynthia was rudely interrupted by Spaz jumping in the middle of her plate of food. She was NOT amused.

I hope you are all watching the news about the protests going on around the country against the madness called government. We all need to let our "leaders" know what we think, whether we agree or not. If you like what's going on, then let them know. Personally, I'm not happy about anything they are doing. I am pleased that they went on vacation for the month. When they're out of Washington, our freedoms are safe for a few days anyway.

The Spastic cat is now sitting on my chest and resting from her frolics. The OTHER cat is in the corner, observing. Hmmm....
