Everything's Up To Date in Kansas City

Tim Fish Here. We had a great time in Kansas City, and we sure enjoyed the SNOW!! I hadn't seen that much snow in a long time. Almost made me want to move north.

Does anyone else have a problem with the President of the United States FIRING the CEO of a private company? When do WE get to waltz in and fire the politicians? They gerrymander the district lines in such a way that it's almost impossible to vote them out of office. We're having a local 'Tea Party' in College Station soon. I suggest that everyone find their nearest Tea Party and attend. A little sidebar to my political actions. I think one of the politicians I've been writing to has sicked the IRS on me. Go Figure.

No More Tea Taxes!!

Tim Fish Here. I think I want to dress like an Indian, (oops, I mean "Native American") and throw some tea into Bryan Lake, or maybe the Brazos River. I doubt anyone would care, but it would make me feel better. Besides, I've always liked dressing up.... Seriously though, I need to find one of those "Tea Parties" they've been having all across the Fruited Plain. President Obama is writing checks that no one can cash, because THERE'S NO MONEY LEFT!!!! The Treasury dept. has started printing money now, because no one wants to lend the U.S. the money!!! Pay down your debt and hang on folks. We are experiencing what's called "Taxation with Lousy Representation", maybe incompetent representation, you choose.

C and I are leaving for a few days of vacation. Wish us well, and pray for a safe trip.

Here Comes the Bride!!

Tim Fish Here. Well their will soon be one more "Fish" in the herd. (Or is it Flock?) Anyway, my youngest son, Seth has asked his girlfriend, Mary Margaret to be his bride. (She said yes) She also is aware of the forthcoming "Fish Jokes". She's doomed.... I wish to publicly congratulate them on their upcoming nuptials.

Now, regarding the broo Ha Ha over the AIG bonuses. I called my congressman's office today. Friends, Romans, Countrymen, lend me your ears. If the government doesn't have to honor a contract to an employee that EARNED a bonus, then they can come after your money too. This is an outrage!!! Barney Frank and Chris Dodd should both be in JAIL because of their role in the banking crisis. They are the ones who forced banks to give loans to people who could not afford home loans. They are the ones that forced Freddie Mac, and Fannie Mae to BUY those bad loans. Our government is corrupt to the core and we need to vote these bums OUT OF OFFICE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Let's not forget that compared to the TRILLIONS of dollars these baffoons have spent, the AIG bonuses are a drop in the bucket. Let's get outraged over that instead of the bonuses. Mow, Mow, Mow the grass.

Tim Fish Here. "Everything is better with Blue Tooth". That's the latest wisdom given to me by Sheldon on "The Big Bang Theory". If you don't watch this Sitcom, you should. Cynthia and I never miss an episode. Every Monday night at 7:00 p.m. on CBS.

Springtime has hit Bryan, Texas. I can hear the sounds of the neighbor mowing his grass. I have thus far ignored the call of the wild and am letting the weeds grow for another day or two before I get the machine out of the garage and pull the rope to turn the magneto that causes current to run through the spark plug that ignites the petroleum product and begins the controlled explosions which turn the crankshaft and moves the blade in a circular motion cutting the blades of green chlorophyll. Perhaps I'll make a video someday.

In the meantime, you've GOT to see the latest episode of "How I met your Mother".

Craziness

Tim Fish Here. Why does everyone make fun of us rednecks until their car breaks down. Then we're their best friend!!

A Houston Police Officer was shot in the face while performing his duties, by an illegal alien, who had been arrested and returned to Mexico in the past. Bill White, the Mayor of Houston has created a "Sanctuary City" out of Houston. He has instructed his police force to not enforce immigration laws. I wonder what he thinks now?

Be sure to take off work early on Friday and watch Glen Beck on the Fox News Channel at 4:00 Central time.

Fooooodddd

TimFish Here. Just got back from Fort Worth, and a quick visit to see grandkids. Hubba Hubba Hubba! That little Dave can eat like a hungry man. We went to IHOP for brunch and I got one of those GREAT Blueberry Crepes with cream cheese. MMmmmmm.. I could have eaten several.

C is exposing me to all kind of cuisine. She bought a Panini skillet last week. I've never heard of a "Panini" before. I looked it up on Wikapedia. I look forward to Panini (sandwich) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A panini is a sandwich made from a small loaf of bread, typically a ciabatta. The loaf is often cut horizontally and filled with salami, ham, meat, cheese or other food, and sometimes served hot. A grilled panino is buttered on the outside and grilled in a press.

On Friday, March 13th, everyone go to your local "We surround them meeting" to watch the "Glen Beck" show. It's important. I will be at my local viewing at the 'Double Dave's' on Rock Prarie in College Station. Go to Glennbeck.com for more info and click on the "We Surround them" Link near the bottom of the page to find out where there's a meeting near you.

Fire! Fire!

TimFish Here.

A little excitement in Elevatorville today. One of us, (who will remain nameless), O.K. it was Mark, did something and the elevator controller burst into flames!! Yes, I said FLAMES! Two fire trucks and three police cars arrived to an evacuated building!! I think of the three of us, I'm the only one who HASN'T had a controller burst into flames and clear a building. I know Bill has done it twice. (That I'm aware of). See what good things happen when you sit in the corner on a bucket and make fun of people?

Random Thoughts on the Passing Scene

TimFish Here. I was given a compliment today. Someone told me that they miss it when I don't blog. Now I know that my wit and charm are unparalleled in the elevator industry, and I appreciate it when my peers recognize my brilliance. So thanks to you "Mr. TimFishHereblogappreciationfan". Now, go out and have a Budweiser and celebrate you intuitive thinking.

Has anyone else been wondering when President Obama will stop talking so that the stock market will stop plunging in it's downward spiral? Every time the man talks, Wall Street listens. YIKES.

I recently subscribed to Glen Becks Website so I can download his radio show on my IPOD. If you haven't listened to him, HE'S AWESOME!! I also get the Laura Ingraham show. It gives me something to listen to while I push my Service Vehicle around campus.

The Texas A & M elevator contract is about to come to an end. What will the future hold? Will we get it back? Will Tim still be pushing his cart around? Will Bill still be fixing things? Will Mark still be fixing things? Will Tim still be sitting on a bucket in the corner of the machine room, making jokes while Bill and Mark fix things? Hmmmm.
